Free Party Game Ideas

Check out these kid party game ideas we have found for you to increase the fun at your child's birthday party. Alternate them with other party activities, such as beating the pinata and party activities so children won't get bored of playing one thing for too long.

Here you have a number of party game ideas to play outdoors. In relay races, teams are formed and race to finish tasks. Example, set up teams at one end of your lawn, and a bucket for each team on the other side. Give each team a measuring cup and have them carry water as fast as they can to their bucket. The first team to fill their bucket wins. Or how about kicking a ball to one end and back while balancing an egg on a spoon? Or carry an orange under their chin, and if they drop it they have to start at the beginning again. You can even think about exciting party game ideas for relay races at a teen party.

Line up 2 equal teams of players all facing the same way. The one at the front holds a ball or balloon. On the word go, the first passes the ball over their head to the player behind, who then passes the ball between their legs to the player behind.Continue over and between until you get to the last player who then runs to the front and players start again over head and between legs. The team that gets the first player in front first wins!

Here's a kids party game idea that everyone will definitely enjoy. Draw 2 circles on the start line. Divide players in 2 teams. Stand each team in a circle. Everyone in each team links arms so each team is "a spider". At the leader's command "the spiders" begin to move to the finish line. On the finish line there are 2 more circles. The spiders must get to them as fast as possible.

This is probably the most popular kid party game. Put several chairs in a circle with their backs inside. The number of the chairs must be less by one than the number of the players. As the music plays, the players walk round the chairs. As the music stops, the players try to take their places on the chairs. The player who hasn't taken a place is out. After that, take away one chair (as the number of players became less by one). The player who remains the last in the game is the winner. Give one of our party favors as a prize: the children will definitely be encouraged to play one more time!

The players get into a circle and fulfil the commands of the leader. But they must fulfil only those commands which begin with the word "Children". For example: "Children, squat!" "Children, link your arms!" "Stand apart!" The player, who fulfils the last command is out. Come up with more fun ideas for this game to enjoy!

The leader is blindfolded and placed in the middle of the room. All the players choose their places at any piece of furniture (at the chair, table, sofa etc). Then "the blind man" turns around for several times and starts his search. The rest of the players try not to be caught by him. But at the same time they mustn't leave their places. They are only allowed to squat, to bow or to climb on to their pieces of furniture. They must touch their places at least with the fingers or toes. Those who come off their places are out. The task of "the blind man" is not only to touch the player, but also to recognize him/her. If the blind man is unable to identify the person, he will continue being blind man. If he identifies the person correctly, the player that was caught becomes the blind man.

Divide up into 2 teams. The teams form up in 2 lines. Between the lines there are some obstacles. You can select from our party accessories to use as obstacles, say, some party toys or any of our party favors. The first player in each team is given a plate with a balloon on it. At the leader's signal, the players begin to run between the obstacles. The team which finishes the race first wins and can choose one of the party gifts that served as obstacles in the race.
